52 week project! Week 9

Today was opening day for our little leaguer. This is his first year ever playing ball, and his coach has been pretty impressed with his skills, not to mention he is the 'class clown' of the team. :) I took a few pictures of Chris, but chose this one to be my project picture!

  1. I really like this shot. Let us know when Chris plays. It's a drive but I want to come to at least one game this season!

  2. I like it Nett!!!
I think Chris is a little too blured out ... but I love the pose and the baseball in the front!!!

It must have been fun to take this shot! It's fun to be creative and I know for me, it encourages me to shot more!!!

    Great work!!!

  3. Nett I just re-read my comment and I hope you aren't hurt or upset. I didn't mean to be rude at all. I like this shot a lot and after looking at it again and longer I realized that I would have done the same thing.

I really do think it's a great shot!!!!!

  4. I didn't find it rude at all! That is why we are posting these... for feedback. And I agree with you. Chris is too blurred out. I still love the shot. But this was the shot that made me feel that I really need the 70-200. I used by 100-400 for this, and it really blurs out the background. No hard feelings at all! :)

  5. Whew! I'm glad! I really like the shot and I didn't want it to sound like I didn't! ;o)

Did you try changing the aperture so it wasn't so open? What's the speed of your 100-400 and the 70-200? Is that why you want the 70-200?

  6. My 100-400 is a 4.0. Yesterday was a beautiful cloudy day so when I tried compensating for that, the speed was super low. The 70-200 is a 2.8. Plus, I have the 24-70, but nothing in between. That would be perfect. I think it would have been more user friendly. For some reason I thought you the 70-200. Chris wouldn't have been so blurred out. I agree with you, he was too much blurred
