52 week project! Week 3

Well I wasn't really feeling creative this week. Not only was the rain depressing, but I also end up getting the flu on Wednesday that put me out for the rest of the week. I really wasn't feeling up to taking pictures. I did however take a couple of quick pics. Wouldn't you know, when I least expect a descent picture, I end up with one that I just adore. Of course, who could resist a face like this? :)

52 week project! Week 2

God I love my boy! He is such a great sport! :)
I am slowly realizing that I don't have as many pictures of Chris as I do of Shelby. I had this picture in mind all week. Unfortunately, I am finding that my 'shooting' days are going to be Saturdays. Just not enough time or daylight during the week for me. I wanted to get a picture of Chris that reflects his personality. Now, he isn't destructive as this looks, but he is a gamer!
In this picture I am trying to show that not only does he have way too many games, but he also has fun with them too! :)

52 week project! Week 1

Finally!

I am really excited about this. Marisa asked Amy and I to do a '52 week photo blog'. We each take a picture per week and post it on our blogs.
What a great idea!
So by each Saturday, we each need to post a new picture for that week. We get to share ideas and feedback. I am really excited about this. With me starting work again, it will keep me focused on what I love to do!

Here is my first one!

Now. I did get permission from Amy before posting this picture (sight unseen though). I don't want it to be taken in the wrong context. I saw this picture and immediately chuckled. Not because my nephew is crying. Please don't think that. When I see this picture I think, what did Shelby do to Jaxon! I already blamed her! LOL. The look on her face is classic.

Mind you. Amy and I were taking picture of the babies today. The babies did great considering we were posing them and laying them on the bed and even outside. In this particular picture, I don't know why Jaxon started crying. If I do recall, it was out of the blue. It was a very short cry too. Jaxon did great! I just happen to catch this moment. He is a very sweet boy. Not only did he share his toys with Shelby (see prior blog); he also shared his fist! Shelby grabbed a hold of his hand and started sucking on it! LOL. Wish I got a picture of that one :)
